Forum Rules and Guidelines
The Golden Rule

Be helpful, polite, considerate, and respectful of others, just as you would like others to be.

The Other Rules

1. No Spam / No Advertising / No Self-promotion
These forums define spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other web sites, or posts with little, or completely unrelated content. Do not spam the forums with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website, business or forums etc.

2. Do not post copyright-infringing material
Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is forbidden. If you’re unsure whether your post might fall foul of the law, please err on the side of caution!

3. Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images
Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums.

4. Do not cross post questions
Please refrain from posting the same question in several forums. There is normally one forum which is most suitable in which to post your question.

5. Remain respectful of other members at all times
All posts should be courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective. However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them. We are all adults in this community so some swearing will be tolerated but please refrain from unnecessary vulgar, obscene, discriminatory or offensive language. It does not matter what title or power you hold in these forums, you are expected to obey this rule.

6. Privacy
Do not post information that may lead to the personal details of any individual being identified without their permission.

General Posting Guidelines

New threads should be given appropriate, descriptive titles and subsequent posts should remain relevant to the original topic.

No SHOUTING. Remember, using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS in posts is considered yelling and rude, plus it is difficult to read.

Wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping threads. (bumping is posting in a thread specifically to make it up to the front page)

No posts of lengthy articles. Sharing information is allowed, but the forums are not to be used to publish articles. It is an improper use of critical forum resources. We keep the right to edit and/or shorten contributions if deemed necessary.

Forum Moderators

The administrators and moderators have the right to edit, delete, move or close any thread or post as they see necessary, without prior warning.

What happens if I see a thread/post which has broken a rule?
Please report the thread/post to the moderators or administrators by contacting info@maturemischief.co.uk

We wish you a pleasant stay and look forward to your contributions!

Best regards,
The Mature Mischief Team
